Super
Freq As much as I love listening to music on my iPod, I've never really been satisfied with the level of bass that my earphones can produce. I've tried several third party earbuds, but the results are usually less than stellar. "High Bass" producing earbuds usually either require extra batteries, ruin the music with distortion or simply don't have the bump. Why can't someone create a set of earphones that let me feel the beat while not trashing the sound quality? Well, the doctors of decibel over at V-Moda felt my pain and have prescribed their Bass Freq earphones. Utilizing V-Moda's Bass Level Isolating Soft Silicon (BLISS) technology, the Bass Freqs promise club level bass without the distortion. Sounds great, but can they punch cleanly? Like Holyfield. We tested a pair of Bass Freqs and were blown away by the shear power and purity of the sound. The silicon buds formed a perfect seal in my ear so that none of the bass tones created by the 10mm neodymium rare earth magnets were wasted. The result was a deep, clear bass that in no way affected the purity of the highs and mids. The fit of the Bass Freqs was superb. I've always had trouble keeping earbuds in place when I exercised, but the Bass Freqs stayed put whether I was jogging or skating. The Bass Freqs also happen to be as easy on the eyes as they are to the ears. Their polished metallic earpieces are quite striking and come in a variety of colors. V-Moda has also addressed something that has always bothered me about colored earphones: no matter what color the earpiece, the cords were always black or white (Wow, real creative). I am so happy that an earphone manufacturer has finally made the effort to tint the cord to match the colored earpieces. It's details like this that really make the Bass Freqs pop visually and add a sense of true style. And let's face it: your music says a lot about your personality, shouldn't what you listen to it with do the same? Bottom line is if you are searching for a set of earphones
that really bring out the bass with zero distortion, then V-Moda's Bass
Freq earphones are simply going to rock your world. Available in a plethora
of pupil-popping colors, you're sure to find a set that expresses your
inner audiophile. For about fifty dollars you get a set of Bass Freq earbuds,
three sizes of soft silicone fittings and V-Moda's Modawrap cable manager
(no more tangled cables). Grab a set almost anywhere earphones or music
accessories are sold or online at one of the dealers listed at www.V-Moda.com.
