I've always been a fan of craftsmanship. Lots of companies and individuals put out decent products, but every now and again I come across one where the hours of loving attention that went into making it the very best that it can be truly make it stand out. Nice acronyms, but do they spell success? In capital letters. We tested a set of VIBE phones and were astonished by the sound quality. Everything from highs to mids to bass was rich, perfect and distortion free. The silicon buds formed a perfect seal in my ear so that none of the bass tones created by the 9mm neodymium rare earth magnets were wasted. The fit of the VIBEs was superb. I've always had trouble keeping earbuds in place when I exercised, but the VIBEs stayed put whether I was jogging or skating. Also, V-Moda's signature quality of manufacturing was instantly apparent in the VIBEs; solidly built from premium metal, these are not throw away buds.

Craftsmanship, however, goes beyond function. V-Moda could have simply developed an exceptional sounding earphone and stopped there, but as always they took the extra step and made the VIBE a fashion statement in and of themselves.
