Chameleon Not long ago, Pelican revolutionized PS2 controller design with the creation of the Chameleon. Compact case, convenient L2 and R2 button layout and improved Start/Select positioning made the Chameleon the next step in the Dual Shock's evolution. Now they've improved upon their own creation the only way they could, they've made it wireless. Boasting all the Chameleon's innovations plus a fifty-foot range and a three hundred hour battery life, the Chameleon Wireless promises to be an essential addition to your PS2 system. But does it deliver? Like obstetrician at a rabbit farm. It's no secret that Pelican has perfected RF gaming technology in previous lines, and the Chameleon Wireless is no exception. We were playing from several houses away with perfect reception and no lag time. The only real surprise here was Pelican's decision to drop the rumble feature to facilitate the smaller housing. Whether this was a worthy sacrifice will probably vary from player to player. All in all, this is a great wireless controller with some outstanding
features. And the fact that it can be bought in a handy twin pack for
under fifty bucks makes it all the sweeter. The Chameleon Wireless Controller
for the PS2 can be found most anywhere games are sold. For more info,
