Skateboards' Freeride 41
The Freeride 41 (or as many call it, The Beast) is exactly that- A beast.
Original Skateboards sent me one of their RockerConcave decks with Bear
Grizzly 852 trucks and 70mm Abec 11 Flashbacks to check out, and this
board will do almost anything you want it to while looking beautiful doing
it. Made to please all kinds of riders, you can make turns and corners
like they were nothing and can reach speeds that make lightspeed look
like a 5 year old on a tricycle. The gas pedals let air glide by the board,
allowing for even greater speed and control.
The concave on this baby is intense and makes it almost
impossible for you to fall off, but still feels comfortable on your feet.
While going through a slide or half way through a trick you can guarantee
your feet won't budge unless you want them to. Sliding on this board is
as easy as cutting through butter with a hot knife. Whether you are new
to sliding or an expert, this board will put out some insane slides that
are worth trying out.
The Freeride 41 RockerConcave is made from maple, meaning it's stiff,
which is good for going fast. The maple is also a bit heavy, but it allows
for greater distance with every push. For new riders or for pros this
board is sure to not disappoint. The Freeride has something new to show
every rider.
Original's Freeride comes in a variety of types. It's available in either
41 inches or 38 inches depending on your preference. Also, you can get
either length with regular concave or rocker concave for a bit of a more
secure ride. Each of the 4 boards has a detailed artistic scheme on bottom
that will leave you speechless. For about $230 to $320 (depending on how
you trick it out) you can grab one at a skate shop near you or online
at www.OriginalSkateboards.com.
This board is a must have for any rider.
